Lever & weight Sefety valve for large flow application & low pressures.The Mazda lever and weight safety valves are high capacity, flat seated, reaction type Safety Valves, meeting the need for greater discharge capacity, shorter blow-down and other design characteristics dictated by the increasing unit size and operating conditions of low pressure and high temperature steam.
The body as well as the outlet are deliberately oversized, providing favourable flow characteristics and allowing for expansion of the flowing medium and ensures that the discharge capacity is actually reached. The adjustable blow-down ring is provided in order to obtain good reseating performance, and seating surfaces are lapped and polished to optical flatness. A seat tightness test is carried out on each valve during assembly. |
